My Story
My New Years resolution for 2023 is to improve my physical health, and this involved starting up running. I have decided to do this run to take up that next challenge of determination and focus but most importantly to enjoy the benefits of running for my own mental being, to have fun and to raise funds for an extremely good cause for Caritas Diocese of Salford so that this can help with the services that they provide.
I am the HR Officer for Caritas Diocese of Salford and I can see how important the different services are and how much these mean to a lot of people. I can see that a lot of hard work and dedication goes into these services from our staff and volunteers, to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage isolation and homelessness, through all of our services we provide across Greater Manchester and Lancashire. I also understand how extremely important it is to help raise these funds for these services so they can continue to give that extra support that a lot of benefit from and in fact really does help them, especially with the cost of living crisis and this is why I have decided do the 10k Great Manchester Run in May 2023 but to work towards my own well-being, strength and fitness and to enjoy the experience!
I would really appreciate any donations and overall the support ☺️
