Alzheimer's Society

About us

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there’s currently no cure.

Thanks to incredible runners like you, we’re campaigning for change, funding life-changing research, and giving help and hope to those living with dementia.

Until we find a cure, Alzheimer’s Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia – wherever they are, whatever they’re going through.

Join our team to help fund world-class dementia research and provide hope and support to people living with dementia and their loved ones. Below are just a few examples of the difference you could make:

£100 - Give access to the Carer Information and Support Programme.
When families are unsure or struggling, this programme can make the world of difference. By understanding how to care for a loved one most effectively, both the carer and the person with dementia can be happier at home.

£160 - Provide a Singing for the brain session.
Singing for the Brain can bring a wealth of benefits to people living with dementia. From expressing themselves through their favourite songs, to getting some gentle exercise through dance, it's a great way to spend time in a group setting. A good session can leave you feeling uplifted long after the final notes are played.
